Furthermore, you want it to be substantial enough where your kid can sit on it (because they will), and also at just the right height where if you’re laying on it, you won’t strain your neck.
We also added lumbar pillows, which can be placed on the sides as head or arm rests, or at the sofa’s back to shorten up the depth of the seat. We love sitting and watching movies with our girls, so the bench cushion’s flat surface is perfect—no one falls in the crack.
